Webster Co-Introduces Legislation Protect U.S. Land from Chinese Communist Party

Washington, DC – Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, along with Texas Congressman Chip Roy and others today introduced H.R. 344, the Securing America’s Land from Foreign Interference Act.  This bill prohibits any members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or any entity under the control or influence of the CCP from purchasing U.S. public or private real estate.

“The CCP is a threat to America’s national and economic security,” said Rep. Webster. “I have a record of speaking out and taking action to hold the Chinese government accountable and protect the U.S. I will continue to work to protect us from CCP and hold them accountable for nefarious attacks that harm our security and safety.”

Reps. Jeff Duncan (SC-03), Mary Miller (IL-15), Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14), Pat Fallon (TX-04), and Wesley Hunt (TX-38) joined Webster and Roy in introducing this legislation.
