Webster: We must always stand on the side of life
Washington, DC – Today, Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, joined Representatives Steve Scalise, Ann Wagner and many of his Republican colleagues to support the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
“Life is our most precious gift,” said Rep. Daniel Webster. “It is one of our three unalienable rights promised to all individuals in the Declaration of Independence. I am committed to doing everything I can to protect life.”
25 times since the start of 2019, Republicans in Congress have asked for unanimous consent from their Democratic colleagues to consider this bill to protect newborn babes from infanticide. Each time, Democrats have refused the request to bring this bill to protect infants born-alive up for discussion and a vote.
