Rep. Webster Votes to Pass Bill Protecting Communities From Illegal Immigrants Driving Under the Influence
February 1, 2024
Washington, D.C. — Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, released the following statement after voting to pass H.R. 6976, the Protect our Communities from DUIs Act, to make driving while under the influence grounds for preventing an illegal immigrant from entering the U.S., or deportation.
“It’s commonsense that illegal immigrations who endanger American lives by driving under the influence should be faced with deportation and barred from entering our country. This bill is a step in the right direction to make our communities and neighborhoods safer.”
