FY27 Appropriations Requests

Below, you will find information on how to submit appropriations requests for Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27). Please review the instructions carefully before submitting your request. The first deadline for requests is March 6th, 2026, and the second deadline is March 13th, 2026. Please review the areas assigned to each deadline below. Late forms will not be considered.

Types of Appropriations Requests

1. Programmatic & Language Requests

Programmatic and Language Requests are used to support funding levels for existing federal programs or request specific language in appropriations bills. These requests do not direct funding to a specific entity but rather influence how federal funds are allocated at the national level.

2. Community Project Funding (CPF)

Community Project Funding allows members of Congress to direct federal funding to specific projects in their districts. These projects must demonstrate community support, serve a clear public purpose, and be administered by an eligible entity (such as a local government).  Click here for the list of eligible accounts for CPF requests.

3. Defense Appropriations Requests

Defense Appropriations requests are intended for projects that support national security and Department of Defense priorities. Requests must align with defense policy goals and be submitted with clear justifications.
