Webster Supports the Freedom to Keep Your Health Plan
November 15, 2013
Representative Daniel Webster (FL-10) issued this statement today following his vote in favor of the bipartisan passage of HR 3350, the Keep Your Health Plan Act of 2013:
“Contrary to the President’s repeated promises, millions of Americans have seen their health insurance plans cancelled due to the impending Obamacare regulations. Constituents in Central Florida have shared their personal experiences about how these cancellations and exorbitant rate hikes have negatively affected their personal lives.
“Today, I voted for a bill that will allow people who are currently satisfied with their health care plan, to keep it - just as the President promised. The Keep Your Health Plan Act of 2013 passed with a strong bipartisan vote, and I remain committed to protecting the freedom of individuals to keep their current health care plan and not be dictated to by overbearing regulations from the federal government.”
