Webster Surpasses $2 Million Returned to Constituents in 2024
September 11, 2024
Washington, D.C. — Today, Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, announced his office returned over $2 million so far in 2024 to constituents who contacted his office for help with issues before the IRS, VA, Social Security and more.
“Providing my constituents with first-class assistance with issues involving federal agencies is one of my top priorities,” said Rep. Webster. “Too often, Americans attempting to secure the veteran benefits, IRS or Social Security payments they have earned are met with delays. I am pleased that we have been able to intercede on behalf of so many constituents to ensure they receive the services and compensation they have earned.”
Webster’s constituent services staff work diligently with agency liaisons on a constituent’s behalf to answer questions, find solutions, or simply attempt to cut through the red tape. Recently a veteran in Lake County contacted Rep. Webster for assistance with his benefits. Webster’s office contacted the VA and continued to stay in touch with both the VA and constituent as he went through their appeals process. At conclusion, everything was resolved, and the veteran received a retro payment of over $70,000.
Webster has gotten more than $23 million returned to constituents in owed compensation, pension, or other retroactive payments since January 2017.
