Representative Daniel Webster (FL-10) issued the following statement today following his vote in support of the bipartisan passage of H.J.Res. 84, the Head Start for Low-Income Children Act, and H.J.Res 89, the Federal Worker Pay Fairness Act:

“In a continued bipartisan effort to provide relief to those most affected by the partial government shutdown, I voted today in support of the Head Start for Low-Income Children Act and the Federal Worker Pay Fairness Act. These measures will ensure that funding continues for the development of children involved in early education and development programs through Head Start and that federal employees currently on the job, but serving without pay, receive their paycheck in full and on time. It is time for the Senate and President to act, said Rep. Webster.
