"I am very troubled by reported actions taken by General Milley last year. While I don’t jump to conclusions about quotes provided by anonymous sources to partisan media outlets - if true, the actions by Gen. Milley raise extremely serious questions. The General is scheduled to testify before Congressional Committees next week. I encourage committee members to fully investigate this and the actions around withdrawal from Afghanistan. I have the greatest respect and appreciation for our military leaders, but if laws or our Constitutional system were violated there must be consequences."
