Will Serve as Conferee for FY2024 National Defense Authorization Act

Washington, D.C. — Today, Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, was appointed to serve as a Conferee to the Fiscal Year 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This summer, Rep. Webster voted to pass H.R. 2670, one of the most conservative and commonsense defense bills Congress has developed in years.

“Providing for the common defense is one of the fundamental congressional responsibilities, I am honored to be named as a conferee to the NDAA conference committee,” said Rep. Webster. “I look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure critical House policies and reforms are kept as we work with our Senate counterparts to ensure our servicemembers have the resources and tools needed to remain the world’s finest fighting force.”

Congressman Webster, given his role as chairman of the Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation, was chosen to be one of two conferees from the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and will serve alongside Transportation and Infrastructure Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO).
