Webster Wraps Up Spigot of Spending Town Hall Meetings
March 3, 2011
Congressman Daniel Webster crossed Central Florida last week on his Stop the Spigot of Spending Tour, a series of town hall meetings designed to give residents an opportunity to ask questions and present ideas on how Washington can cut back. “SOS” for short, the Spigot of Spending Tour rolled into Winter Garden on February 22nd with approximately 100 residents participating in the spending town hall forum. Next on his stop was the Marion County Board of County Commissioner’s Chambers where about 40 participants joined in on the conversation. On Thursday afternoon, Webster held a forum in Celebration and wrapped up that evening in Tavares at the Lake County Administration building with 80-90 people showing up to express their ideas.
