FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Last night, the 1.4 million member seniors’ organization, The Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), hosted its 4th Annual AMAC Award Reception.  With over 200 people cramming the Budget Committee Hearing room, Dan Weber, the president and founder of AMAC, was pleased to honor Congressman Daniel Webster, FL-10, a tried and true problem-solver and leader for his fight for seniors and veterans.

“Congressman Webster has been a strong supporter of AMAC and of the seniors in Florida,” said Weber. “Few Members of Congress are as committed to seniors and protecting their hard-earned benefits as Mr. Webster.  As a man who understands fiscal issues more than most in Washington, Mr. Webster is fighting every day to make sure Social Security remains solvent and that the government, like its citizens, lives within its means.”

“We must care for our senior citizens and their financial security by ensuring the U.S. government prioritizes its spending to meet its most important obligations,” said Congressman Webster.  “AMAC is a strong voice for safeguarding seniors through their advocacy for lower taxes, less government intrusion and increased accountability. I am honored to receive this award.”

AMAC is proud to recognize Congressman Webster for the work he does on Capitol Hill to protect Social Security and stand up to runaway government spending.  Seniors know they have an ally in Congressman Webster who will offer real-time solutions to real-life problems.
