Washington, DC - Congressman Daniel Webster (R-Clermont) released the following statement on the #SchumerShutdown.

“Senate Democrats’ decision to shut down government, let Children's Health Insurance Program expire and force military to work without pay is irresponsible and wrong.

“Our servicemen and women should not be Democrats' political pawns, they deserve better. So, do the 374,884 children in Florida who depend on this insurance program for access to health care.
