Washington, D.C. — Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, released the following statement after voting to pass H.J.Res 98, a Congressional Review Act resolution that overturns the National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) final joint employer rule, which holds a company liable for employees it does not employ or directly supervise.

“Today I voted to pass H.J.Res 98, which rescinds the Biden Administrations burdensome regulation that ties the hands of America’s small business owners,” said Rep. Webster. “As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges small business owners face daily. By passing H.J.Res 98, House Republicans are fighting to protect the backbone of America’s economy from unnecessary bureaucratic red tape.”
